We present you a new report in which we have analysed the Conventional Banking in Germany. In this study, we have selected the most important banks of the German state taking into account their assets’ volume. Facebook, Twitter and Youtube are the main social networks considered on this report. It is worth mentioning that, on the Twitter analysis, we have not considered the banks’ profiles that are exclusively addressed to customer care issues. These profiles have been analysed separately in order to evaluate their customer care service.
The financial institutions we have chosen for our analysis are: Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, DZ Bank, Landesbank, Postbank, NORD / LB, Wüstenrot & Württemburgische (W & W), DekaBank KFW, HypoVereinsbank and Helaba.

Facebook is the most important social network for this type of industry. The reason for this is the fact that among the analysed financial companies, there are 338,314 unique users on this social community, which indicates that it is the social network with the most potential for such companies.
As for Twitter, it is the social network where conventional banks of Germany are most active, with an average of 2 tweets per day. Commerzbank achieves the best rates of engagement / month.
Youtube becomes the digital television of the financial industry, in which the highest engagement rates per month are generated. Commerzbank manages this time too, to be the bank that generates the best engagement. What kind of videos will they upload?
